Over the past two weeks, we have seen race equality protests take hold all over the world. These demonstrations were sparked by the death of George Floyd on 25th May 2020. As usual, this latest killing has stirred up a renewed sense of collective passion and unity against systemic and structural racism. It is important to note these passions are not new or momentary, but a response to generations of oppression.
